Job Description Join to apply for the Carers role at Choice Care. Location: Choice Care, Suite 16, Blackburn Enterprise Centre, Furthergate. We provide regular work and hours that fit perfectly within a work‑life balance. You will need to be available from 7 am – 2 pm and/or 4 pm – 11 pm and have the use of your own car. We are a Preferred Provider for Blackburn with Darwen Council, Lancashire County Council, the NHS and Clinical Commissioning Group as well as private clients. We are a family business with 26 years of experience. We prefer face‑to‑face training. Starting hourly rate: £12.25 per hour. With an NVQ or experience, starting rate increases to £12.60 per hour, and after probation, to £13.00 per hour. With more than 70 years of experience, we deliver high‑quality home care services in Lancashire along the M65 corridor, bridging the gap between traditional home care and nursing. We work with organisations such as East Lancashire Hospice, the Stroke Association, Dementia UK, Parkinson’s UK and the MS Society to ensure our staff receive up‑to‑date training. All carers are vetted and trained to gain the qualifications needed for a long‑term career. We provide induction training and carers must reach the required level of knowledge in each subject area.
