You’ll be part of our Project Planning Team, led by a planning discipline director.Your top three objectivesTo make construction projects deliver to near perfectionTo create scalable and repeatable solutions to common problemsTo develop yourself and everyone around youYour Top Five ResponsibilitiesOwn the plan: Own the project plan for one or more projects, ensure it is followed, mitigate delays and manage commerciallyOwn the outcome: Ensure the project team understands and focuses on the planReport and inform: Provide simple, actionable reports to stakeholders to improve deliveryMake scalable solutions: Develop scalable and repeatable best practices and tools with the teamDevelop everyone: Maximise the development of your team and educate clientsYou must have:A construction engineering background with 2+ years of experience on construction projects, experience in project planning (software and principles), strong Excel skills, and an interest in dataCommunication skills: Proficient in written and verbal English with the ability to influence on construction-related changesLeadership capabilities: Proactive self-leadership and ability to guide others by asking the right questionsImpact: Track record of implementing scalable, repeatable solutions that improve projects and organisationsLaminar isn’t the place for you if any of the following is true:You want an easy, chilled-out role without challengeYou like to be the smartest person in the roomYou don’t like receiving honest feedbackYou prefer to work alone rather than in a teamBenefitsThe standard stuff:Health Insurance Scheme.
