Job Title: Consultant in Child and Adolescent PsychiatryGrade: ConsultantLocation: London, Greater London Working Hours: 40 hours per weekRate: Competitive, to be discussed upon applicationWe are seeking an enthusiastic Consultant in Child and Adolescent CAMHS Psychiatry (CMHT) to work full-time hours for our NHS client based in London, Greater London.What will your responsibilities be?As a Consultant in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in the UK, your responsibilities are both broad and specialised. You are primarily responsible for providing expert clinical assessments and diagnoses for children and adolescents experiencing complex mental health issues. This involves leading and overseeing the development of comprehensive treatment plans and therapeutic interventions. You are expected to manage and support multidisciplinary teams, ensuring effective collaboration between various healthcare professionals, including psychologists, social workers, and nurses.In addition, you play a key role in supervising and mentoring junior staff and trainees, contributing to their professional development. You also engage in regular MDT (Multidisciplinary Team) meetings to discuss patient progress, share insights, and adjust treatment strategies as necessary.
