We are seeking an experienced Indirect Tax Manager to take a leading role in managing VAT and other indirect tax compliance across this market-leading business. This is a key position within a Group Tax environment, offering the opportunity to provide expert business support, oversee major compliance processes, and guide impactful tax-related projects.In this role, you will lead compliance reporting across multiple territories, ensuring accurate and timely submissions while minimising local indirect tax risks. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to the business, supporting commercial initiatives and driving improvements across systems and processes.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop a team of Tax Accountants to support their growth and performanceAct as a strategic business partner, advising on the indirect tax implications of commercial decisionsDrive improvements to VAT and indirect tax processes, controls, and reporting systemsPartner with IT and Finance teams to maintain the integrity of financial systems used for VAT reportingProactively identify and mitigate indirect tax risks across the businessManage indirect tax enquiries, audits, and relationships with tax authoritiesMonitor industry trends and legislative updates, ensuring timely communication to key stakeholdersWhat You’ll BringExtensive expertise across all areas of Indirect Tax, ideally gained within a complex organisationStrong understanding of accounting principles and their tax implicationsProficiency in SAP and advanced MS Excel skillsA proactive approach to change and continuous improvementStrong commercial awareness with the ability to balance risk and business prioritiesExcellent stakeholder engagement and project management capabilitiesExperience managing interactions with external tax authoritiesIf you’re a motivated Indirect Tax specialist looking to take a lead role in a fast-paced and evolving environment, we’d love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
