Option 1: Mon-Fri (Days)
* Monday to Thursday (7.30am to 4.30pm) and Fridays (7.30am to 12.30pm)
* Pay: Up to £14.95 per hour
Option 2: Mon-Thurs (Lates)
* Monday to Wednesday (4.30pm to 2.30am) and Thursdays (4.30pm to 1.30am) (39hrs)
* Pay: Up to £17.72 per hour
Overtime available at x1.33 Mon-Fri, x1.5 Saturday and x2 Sunday
Holidays/Benefits: holidays are calculated in hours but work out to be 5.6 weeks of annual leave per year inc. bank holidays, increasing to 6.6 weeks inc. bank holidays following 1 year of continuous service. Death in Service Benefit - 2 x annual salary. Employer 3% / Employee 5% - Pension.
Overview:
We now require a Mechanical Operative to join the metal finishing department. As the Mechanical Operative you will be tasked to finish precision engineered components working to tight tolerances.
The ideal candidate / Mechanical Operative may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:
* Mechanically competent working with hand tools - grinders, ratchets etc.
Commutable from: Redditch, Alcester, Bromsgrove, Worcester, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick and surrounding areas
