This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading manufacturing business where you'll be responsible for testing and validating complex systems that support industries like aerospace, defence, and power technologies. As a Test Technician, you’ll support the testing, troubleshooting, and validation of electro‑mechanical components and assemblies. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring performance, reliability, and quality, while working closely with engineering and production teams. Key responsibilities of the Test Technician include: Perform functional, environmental, and performance testing on assemblies and systems Set up and operate test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators Document test results and support root cause analysis of failed units Read and interpret engineering drawings, CMMs, and SOPs Maintain, calibrate, and ensure the safety of test equipment Collaborate with engineering teams on prototype validation Take part in continuous improvement and 5S activities across the test process About You The ideal Test Technician will have an HNC/HND in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering, and at least 2 years’ experience in a similar test environment. You’ll be confident using diagnostic equipment, working methodically under pressure, and communicating effectively across teams.
