Graduate Tutor – Ideal First Step Into Education

Milk Education is seeking enthusiastic and committed graduates to join schools as Graduate Tutors, supporting pupils who need an extra boost with their learning. This is a brilliant opportunity for anyone considering a future in teaching, educational psychology, or youth support.

If you're a recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience and make a meaningful difference to young people, this role is the perfect place to start.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Delivering tailored 1:1 and small-group tuition to help pupils progress in key subjects.

Supporting learning in areas such as English, Maths, Science, or other curriculum subjects based on your strengths.

Helping students develop confidence, study skills, and a positive attitude towards learning.

Adapting resources and approaches to meet individual needs and learning styles.

Monitoring progress and feeding back to teachers and school staff.

Building strong, supportive relationships that encourage motivation and resilience.

What We’re Looking For:

A degree (2:2 or above) obtained within the last 3 years.

A strong academic background and willingness to support learning across different subjects.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain concepts clearly.

A genuine passion for helping young people succeed.

An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.

You don’t need tutoring experience — full training will be provided.
