Strategic ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement the overall property management strategy for the businessDrive client satisfaction, retention, and long-term revenue growthAdvise directors on departmental budgets, staffing, and operational efficienciesEstablish KPIs and performance standards for the property management team Operational ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day management of the existing managed portfolioEnsure smooth rent collection, arrears control, and landlord payment processesManage maintenance and repairs, ensuring quality standards and cost efficiencyHandle tenancy renewals, rent reviews, and deposit returnsImprove internal systems to enhance communication and responsivenessMinimise void periods and accelerate property relets Compliance And Legal ResponsibilitiesMaintain full compliance with UK lettings and property management legislationOversee deposit protection, safety certification, and statutory document renewalsKeep up to date with new regulations such as the Renters Reform Bill and Building Safety ActManage service charge and freeholder queries, and assist with legal proceedings when required People Management ResponsibilitiesLead, train, and motivate the property management teamSet measurable objectives and conduct performance reviewsRecruit and develop team members to ensure consistent service qualityResolve escalated landlord and tenant issues with professionalism and diplomacy Client Relationship ResponsibilitiesAct as senior point of contact for key landlords and portfolio clientsProvide strategic guidance to landlords to maximise returns and asset performanceBuild strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, and partnersRepresent the agency professionally in all disputes and formal proceedings Financial And Reporting ResponsibilitiesMonitor departmental profitability and ensure cost controlApprove major works, contractor invoices, and expenditureProvide regular performance, arrears, and compliance reports to directorsIdentify and grow new revenue streams including maintenance projects, furniture packs, insurance products, and related services If you are interested in this Head of Property Management role and would like to know more, please email your CV or telephone us on a strictly private and confidential basis for an informal discussion.Due to the number of responses, we are unfortunately unable to respond individually to each applicant.
