This is a hands‑on leadership role where you'll shape the future of our countryside and ecology service, ensuring our habitats and wildlife are safeguarded and accessible for everyone to enjoy. What you'll do Lead the operational management of Rotherham's Countryside Team and ecological projects. Take responsibility for Thrybergh Country Park, one of our busiest and most popular destinations, ensuring it remains a welcoming, safe, and vibrant space for visitors. Oversee the commercial aspects of the park café, balancing customer experience with financial sustainability. Champion biodiversity and sustainability across all green spaces. Work with local communities, volunteers, and partners to deliver meaningful environmental improvements. Develop and inspire a team dedicated to protecting and enhancing our natural heritage. Until 31st March 2026 employees paid at Band D and above are subject to a temporary pay reduction of 1.15% spread out by means of a monthly deduction from each pay period over the full financial year.
