Your work will directly enable the development of a more resilient, sustainable energy network—one that meets the demands of tomorrow.***What you’ll do**** Lead on securing land contracts and planning consents for high-profile energy network development projects* Deliver expert legal advice across a range of complex property and planning matters, collaborating and advising senior leaders across ScottishPower and the Iberdrola Group* Drive innovation in legal processes and contribute to best practice development* Build strong relationships with internal teams including Land & Planning, and external stakeholders***What you’ll bring***We’re looking for a solicitor with:* Solid experience in leading or supporting energy development, infrastructure, or commercial property transactions* Expertise in Options, Leases, Servitudes, Dispositions, and related agreements* A confident, client-focused approach to legal advisory work* Strong communication skills and commercial awareness* The ability to prioritise, manage a fast-paced workload and deliver under pressureThis is an exciting time to join ScottishPower.
