We're recruiting skilled machinists to join a well-established precision engineering environment in Wigston, Leicester, with plenty of overtime and shift allowance available.Shift Pattern (Rotating)Mornings :Mon-Thu : 6 : 00am - 2 : 30pmFri : 6 : 00am - 11 : 30amAfternoons :Mon-Thu : 2 : 00pm - 10 : 30pmFri : 11 : 30am - 5 : 00pmThe RoleAs a CNC Setter Operator, you will set and run CNC Turning Lathes to produce precision components to extremely tight tolerances. You'll be part of a skilled team working with modern equipment and high standards.Key ResponsibilitiesSet and run CNC Turning LathesMachine high-precision components to tight deadlinesCarry out in-process checks using micrometers, digital callipers, shadow graph and laser micrometerRead and interpret complex engineering drawingsMachine parts to tolerances as tight as 0.010mm / 10 micronsOperate multiple machines simultaneouslyMaintain accurate machining records and TPM documentationFollow manufacturing procedures, quality standards and H&S guidelinesProtect confidentiality of customer informationConsistently deliver high-quality, accurate work #J-18808-Ljbffr
