We're recruiting skilled machinists to join a well-established precision manufacturing team in Wigston, Leicester, working with high-performance components and tight-tolerance machining.Shift Pattern (Rotating)Mornings: Mon-Thu: 6:00am - 2:30pm Fri: 6:00am - 11:30amAfternoons: Mon-Thu: 2:00pm - 10:30pm Fri: 11:30am - 5:00pmThe RoleAs a CNC Setter Operator, you will set and run CNC Turning Lathes to manufacture high-precision components to exceptionally tight tolerances. You'll be part of a highly skilled team operating modern, well-maintained machinery in a fast-paced yet supportive environment.This role suits someone who enjoys technical challenges, variety, and working to elite precision standards.Key ResponsibilitiesProduce high-accuracy components to extremely tight tolerancesPerform in-process inspection using micrometers, calipers, shadow graph, and laser micrometerRead and interpret complex engineering drawings and specificationsMachine parts to tolerances as tight as 0.mm / 10 micronsOperate multiple machines simultaneously during production runsMaintain accurate machining and TPM documentationAdhere to manufacturing procedures, quality standards, and H&S guidelinesEnsure confidentiality and care when handling customer componentsConsistently deliver reliable, high-quality workmanshipWhat You'll BringAbility to read and interpret detailed engineering drawingsStrong background in precision machining (tight tolerances essential)Skilled in the use of precision measuring equipment⭐ Additional Benefits Work with high-performance materials such as titanium, super alloys, and maraging steelsOpportunity to learn and expand into programming, optimisation, or multi-axis workExposure to complex, low-volume, high-value components Office Angels is an employment agency and business.
