Job Title: Assessor / Trainer – Civil Engineering

Hours: 37 Hours Mon to Fri – Full Time, Permanent

Salary: £31,110 - £36,157

Location: Cambridge

Herts Resourcing Group (HRG) is working with a college in Cambridge and we’re actively looking for an experienced Civil Engineering Assessor / Trainer to join their team. The successful candidate take responsibility for an agreed caseload of learners, providing high quality coaching, mentoring and training to ensure they successfully complete their apprenticeships. You will act as the main point of contact for learners and employers, fostering strong relationships to support the development of knowledge, skills, and behaviours required for success in the industry.

What You’ll Do (including but not limited to):

* Conduct regular progress reviews, providing feedback to learners and employers.

* Support learners in developing their portfolios and preparing for end-point assessments (EPA).

* Work closely with employers to identify suitable tasks and training opportunities.

* Ensure the tracking and documentation of learner progress meets quality assurance requirements.

* Deliver targeted training to support learners' wider life skills development.

* Promote the college’s values and ensure compliance with awarding body practices.

You Must Have:

Trainor Assessor Level 1:

* A relevant level 3 vocational qualification & CPD

* Level 3 TAQA or Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Qualifications (or equivalent, A1, etc)

Trainor Assessor Level 2:

* + Level 3 Internal Quality Assurance Qualification.

What we’re looking for:

* Relevant Civil Engineering qualification and industry experience (essential).

* Strong communication and organisational skills.

* Passion for training and mentoring learners.

* Understanding of apprenticeship standards and end-point assessments

* Full driving licence
