SALARY: NegotiableRESPONSIBILITIESIdentify opportunities / markets and assess all opportunities for the businessContribute to and implement business development strategies in line with key business goalsDevelop new business relationships with potential clients and maintain high-level contacts with current customers and project partnersEnsure all risks are assessed with potential business opportunitiesKnow, understand and represent the business in all interactionsRepresent the company at events / functionsDeliver presentations to prospective clients on behalf of the CompanyPrepare Monthly Business Development progress reports for the DirectorsVisit project sites to meet with clients and report on performancesSign off on prequalifications and attend post-tender interviews if requiredWork with the marketing team to ensure all marketing material is representative of business goals and valuesCollate and share marketing intelligenceInvolvement during the tender process from receipt of ITT to delivery and presentation of the proposal to clientsQUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTSMust have a relevant degree in Construction, Engineering or have suitable experience within the Electrical Construction industryExperienced in working for an Electrical Contractor is beneficialPrevious Business Development experience at a senior levelStrong commercial and technical backgroundHave a strong knowledge of the UK Construction industryPossess excellent organisational skills and the ability to lead a team in a dynamic environmentComputer Applications such as Microsoft Excel and Word #J-18808-Ljbffr
