Senior Representative, Contact Center – Mastercard Title: Senior Representative, Contact Center Location: Harrogate, England, United Kingdom Role Overview: As a Senior Representative in the Contact Center, you will support customers 24x7x365, handling inbound calls, emails, technical queries, troubleshooting, incident management, and ensuring SLAs are met. Responsibilities Take inbound calls and answer emails from customers across multiple services. Learn about our products and communicate effectively with customers. Manage incidents and work with internal teams to meet strict SLAs. Understand customer needs, offer help, advice and escalations where required. Contribute to a supportive, fun and friendly team environment. Work 35‑hour weeks, Monday‑Friday, 8‑hour shifts with varied patterns. What You’ll Bring Strong listening skills. Passion for problem solving. Empathy and understanding customer needs. Drive to deliver outstanding customer service. Essential Qualifications Strong emphasis on customer delivery; ability to meet and exceed SLAs. Experience in a Customer Service environment (Contact Center, Retail, Hospitality, etc.). Commitment to customer service. Incident management understanding. Positive can‑do attitude. Desirable Qualifications Experience of a Financial Services Service Desk. Self‑starter comfortable working alone or as part of a team. Organisational and administrative skills. ITIL Foundation Certificate. Skills Very high level of accuracy. Good verbal and written communication skills. Good standard of education. Typical Competencies Plenty of customer service experience and strong interpersonal skills. Track record of providing customer service and passion for helping customers. Enjoy developing knowledge around our products and services to share. Ability to communicate effectively in difficult situations and relish challenges. Corporate Security Responsibility Abide by Mastercard’s security policies and practices. Ensure confidentiality and integrity of accessed information. Report suspected information security violations or breaches. Complete periodic mandatory security training in accordance with Mastercard guidelines.
