They are looking for a competent and progressive Water Hygiene Engineer / Supervisor based in and around the Birmingham area. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience carrying out TMV servicing and repairs, cleaning and disinfections of tanks, showerhead descaling, and supervising a team of water hygiene engineers. Ideally, the candidate will have experience working in line with HTM 04-01 on healthcare sites. Basic remedial plumbing duties experience would be beneficial but not necessary. Allowed Work Locations (Within Birmingham area) Wolverhampton, Coventry, Solihull, Redditch, Bromsgrove, Tamworth, Cannock, Hinkley, Rugby, Kidderminster, Telford, Shrewsbury, Stafford. Experience & Qualifications Previous experience working within the water hygiene industry, ideally as an engineer. Experience in plumbing is beneficial but not mandatory. Good working knowledge of relevant Health & Safety / ACOP L8 guidelines. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient in using Microsoft Office. Role & Responsibilities Undertake temperature monitoring and routine sampling and analysis of water. Carry out TMV servicing, repairs and replacements. Conduct analysis on closed systems and chemical dosing. Ensure all work complies with Health and Safety / ACOP L8 guidelines. Supervise a team of hygiene engineers, ensuring health & safety compliance. Perform small remedial works as required. Use site information to produce detailed client reports.
