Experience & Qualifications: Experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer / Remedial Plumber for a reputable provider of Water Hygiene / Legionella management services. Holding the City and Guilds / NVQ ( level 2 or higher) is essential to the role. Extensive experience carrying out L8 compliance duties in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines. Familiar updating onsite logbooks. Able to communicate efficiently. Excellent organisational skills. The Role: Water sampling. Legionella monitoring. Carrying out CWST inspections, refurbishments, cleans & chlorination’s. TMV servicing and failsafe testing. Showerhead cleans and acid disinfections. Carrying out pre-planned remedial tasks. Flushing of little used outlets. Cleans and disinfections on hot and cold-water systems. Deadleg removals. Rerouting, replacing, and adjusting of PVC and copper pipe. Ensuring work is carried out in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines. Updating onsite logbooks upon completion of work.
