The Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 3-8 PQE solicitor to join the highly regarded Banking and Finance team of a leading international law firm in Manchester. The successful candidate will gain exposure to a broad range of banking and finance matters, with a particular focus on corporate / leverage finance, real estate finance, and infrastructure finance. As an Associate in this dynamic banking and finance team, you will : Work alongside senior lawyers and clients on high profile transactions involving private equity sponsors, banks, corporates, and funds. Be involved in cross-border matters and represent clients in complex financing transactions. Deal with UK and international financial institutions, private equity houses, funds, and corporates. Act in opposition to Magic Circle and large US law firms on significant and challenging cases. About You To succeed in this role, you will have : 3 to 8 years\' PQE with experience in banking and finance law, including corporate finance, real estate finance, and infrastructure finance. A strong academic background. Excellent technical skills and a practical approach to applying legal knowledge. Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders. Proven ability to manage and progress matters independently, whilst being an effective team player. A proactive attitude to business development, with experience in client-facing work.
