Validation/Service Engineer – Manchester

Our established client is known for delivering a range of high-quality validation and LEV services to a national client base. They are currently recruiting for a Validation/Service Engineer based in and around the Manchester area. The ideal candidate will be experienced in carrying out clean room validations in accordance with HTM guidelines. Consideration will be given to applications from Stockport, Oldham, Wigan, and the surrounding areas. Experience to the Role Will hold experience working as a validation engineer within the critical ventilation / healthcare sector. Experience of testing and servicing, fume cupboards, laminar flow cabinets is desirable but not essential. Experience in undertaking a wide range of critical ventilation testing. Proven track record of validi ng and verifying ventilation systems in accordance with HTM 03-01 regulations. Able to demonstrate an understanding of compliance and health & safety guidelines. Ability to manage own time and workload. Confident in building and maintain client relationships. Holds strong communication skill. Duties within the Role Testing critical ventilation systems within the healthcare sector; validating and verifying the systems in accordance with the relevant industry regulations. Carrying out airflow and pressure measurements, microbiological air sampling, noise and environmental measurements, auditing of Air Handling Units (AHUs) and re‑balancing airflows. Carrying DOP and HEPA testing. Report writing and consulting with clients on findings and recommendations. Maintenance of instruments & equipment, including arranging repairs and recalibrations when necessary. Providing support and training to site engineers. Carry out annual servicing of all relevant product range. Ensure correct execution of all the company’s documentation from Service reports to IQ/OQ. Ensuring that all sales prospects, enquiries, and are professionally managed and delivered back to the office in accordance with procedures. Maintaining allocated test equipment, ensuring calibration is current and certification is available for issue to all clients.
