Job DescriptionJob Title: Validation EngineerLocation: Manchester, Northwest.Salary / Benefits: £35k – £45k + Training + BenefitsLevel of Experience: Trainee Validation Engineer through to Lead Validation EngineerOur client is a professional and established clean air company that provides their varied portfolio of clients with a full range of validation and LEV services. We are looking for a hardworking, qualified Validation Engineer based around Manchester. The ideal candidate will hold the BOHS P601 and relevant Eastwood Park training and have extensive experience carrying out cleanroom validations in accordance with HTM 0301, along with airflow and pressure measurements, noise and environmental measurements, and auditing of AHUs.Applications will be considered from: Bolton, Oldham, Warrington, Wigan, Bury, Preston, Blackburn, Blackpool, Liverpool, Birkenhead, Chester, and Crewe.Experience & QualificationsExperience working as a validation engineer within the critical ventilation / healthcare sectorIdeally hold the P601 and relevant Eastwood Park TrainingExperience undertaking a wide range of critical ventilation testingProven track record of validating and verifying ventilation systems in accordance with HTM 03-01 regulationsExperience testing LEV’s, fume cupboards, laminar flow cabinets desirable but not essentialDemonstrated understanding of compliance and health & safety guidelinesExcellent organisational skillsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalProficient in using Microsoft OfficeThe RoleTesting critical ventilation systems within the healthcare sector; validating and verifying systems in accordance with relevant industry regulationsCarrying out airflow and pressure measurements, microbiological air sampling, noise and environmental measurements, auditing of Air Handling Units (AHUs), and re-balancing airflowsCarrying DOP and HEPA testingReport writing and consulting with clients on findings and recommendationsMaintenance of instruments & equipment, arranging repairs and recalibrations when necessaryProviding support and training to site engineersAlternative Job titlesValidation Engineer, Trainee Validation Engineer, Airflow Engineer.Future Select recruits in the environmental / compliance industry; we work with the best clients & candidates and supply most permanent jobs in the market.
