OverviewA full-time Reinstatement Cost Assessment (RCA) Consultant role in the UK Reinstatement Cost Consultancy Team. UK-based with flexibility to accommodate home working.The role requires flexibility to support on occasions outside core working hours to meet client and delivery deadlines. We are looking for a Chartered (MRICS) cost consultant to predominantly work within the RCA team but also to provide cost consultancy support to the Building Consultancy team. The RCA team is established and growing as a service stream, with opportunities to develop within our business plan. The role includes supporting the UK-based RCA team, coordinating and managing our RCA support team in Manila, and liaising with colleagues across Europe. There is also a need to provide general cost consultancy advice to Building Consultancy teams on a wide range of projects including Capex analysis on real estate and mergers & acquisitions transactions, construction, contracts, procurement, refurbishment and maintenance works, dilapidations and other professional services works. There is also opportunity to undertake the financial management role for the RCA projects and potential for career development in relation to developing the team, generating additional revenue through sales and client development (internally and externally) and ensuring service excellence.ResponsibilitiesReinstatement Cost Assessment (RCA): Support and develop the RCA team, coordinating with Manila support and collaborating across Europe.Reinstatement Cost Assessment (RCA): Manage service delivery and provide bid support for portfolio and framework RCA bids.Cost ConsultancyOffer general cost consultancy advice on a variety of projects, including Capex analysis, construction, procurement, and maintenance works.Collaborate with Building Consultancy teams and the wider business for seamless support.Client and Team DevelopmentEngage in client development and sales, ensuring service excellence.Prepare marketing materials and capability statements.Develop and enforce new processes for quality and consistency.Financial ManagementOversee financial management of RCA projects, with potential for career growth through team development and revenue generation.Qualifications & ExperienceMRICS qualified with experience in RCA preparation.Effective communication, service delivery, and relationship-building skills.Ability to manage client expectations and deliver accurate, timely work outputs.Strong team player who guides junior members.Articulate, detail-oriented, and organised.Multidisciplinary experience with a global perspective.Proactive, flexible, innovative, and self-motivated.Demonstrates sound financial management and confidentiality.DetailsSeniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: OtherIndustries: Professional Services #J-18808-Ljbffr
