We offer MSK physiotherapy outpatient rotations at Homerton Hospital, St Leonards, City & Hackney community clinics & Ludwig Guttmann centre (Olympic park). Homerton's wider MSK teams consist of: GP, consultant & self referred outpatient physiotherapy services Post orthopaedic surgery rehabilitation, sports medicine, musculoskeletal ultrasonography, shockwave, virtual fracture clinic, non-medical prescribers & persistent pain service Close working relationships with radiology, rheumatology, orthopaedics, podiatry & emergency medicine We ask all applicants to not use AI tools to generate or enhance any part of their application. Main duties of the job Specialist physiotherapy assessment of patients with diverse musculoskeletal presentations, providing a diagnosis and developing and delivering an individualised treatment programme. Utilisation of a variety of Physiotherapy therapeutic modalities to enhance strength, flexibility, and functional movement. Alongside educating patients about their condition, treatment options, pain management and self-management strategies. Developing individualized treatment plans and rehabilitation programmes tailored to each patient's specific needs and goals and evaluate using appropriate outcome measures. Person Specification Education / Qualifications Degree/Diploma in Physiotherapy, HCPC Knowledge Knowledge/understanding, MSK knowledge, confidentiality issues, EBP, audit Knowledge of current professional and NHS issues, diverse multicultural society Experience Broad general clinical experience & experience managing a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. Maintaining relevant range of CPD activities Experience of working within a diverse socioeconomic/multicultural society & different healthcare environments Skills/ Abilities Able to manage caseload and to prioritise under pressure. MDT working.
