Maintenance Engineer – Wincanton, Somerset Salaries: GBP 44,500–45,500 per annum. Hours: Monday to Friday, early finish on Friday. Benefits: 33 days holiday (increasing), additional leave on birthdays, annual bonus scheme, electric charging, career progression and development. Role and Responsibilities Planned maintenance inspections, review parts used Recommend improvements aligned with projects and maintenance schedules, carry out safety checks on range of equipment Monitor plant conditions, report defects and repair machinery Generate and maintain compliance to SOPs and risk assessments Report on plant performance using systems, ensure action on non‑conformance issues Work on a range of valves and pumps Support production and continuous improvement projects Knowledge, Skills and Experience Formal engineering qualification: C & G Level 3, NVQ Level 3, apprenticeship trained Knowledge of continuous improvement Strong knowledge of good engineering standards Experience in food, packaging, drink, manufacturing environments Recruitment Process If you are interested in this position, please click apply.
