We are looking to recruit a Transport Planner or Assistant Transport Planner to join our Transport & Mobility Planning team in Cambridge. Overview At WSP, you will work on landmark transport projects that combine technical excellence with a commitment to innovation and sustainability. You will work across modes to develop transport strategies, policies, business cases and programmes from inception through to completion, supporting a diverse portfolio of public and private sector clients. Responsibilities Contribute to a variety of projects and proposals (both technical and commercial inputs) and deliver high-quality outputs in line with client requirements. Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with other WSP service lines to deliver large projects from concept to delivery. Play a supporting role in securing and delivering work for our diverse local client portfolio. Contribute to the financial performance of your projects and the commercial performance of our team. Make an active contribution to WSP's four key pillars (People; Clients & Growth; Operations; and Expertise). Qualifications Prior experience in transport and mobility planning and design, and transport data analysis. Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to clients and colleagues. Experience of working with Local Authority and Combined Authority clients. Experience of software packages such as TRICS, Junction 10 and LinSIG. Understanding of project management skills developed across a range of transport and multi-disciplinary projects. Creative, innovative mind-set, lateral thinker. Don’t quite meet all the criteria?
