Job Summary 30.0 hours per week. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Community Administration service. This post will work within a locality providing full clerical support to Health Care Professional teams that are based within the community clinics. Main Duties of the Job Provide full clerical support to the Health Care Professional teams based in community settings. Act as the first point of contact for all community service users. Undertake full range of clerical tasks, maintaining strict confidentiality. Work within the Hyde Locality covering Union Street and Hattersley Clinics and Selbourne House. Support community clinics operating 8.00am‑5.00pm, Monday to Friday; Community Administration service works 8.00am‑8.00pm, Monday to Saturday. Person Specification Essential English and Maths, GCSE, CSE, level 1 or A‑C or above IT Skills in Microsoft Word and Excel Knowledge of Patient Administration Systems (PAS) i.e. EMIS Knowledge of Microsoft Packages Working experience of general office duties, Reception duties, Computer literate, Customer service skills, Excellent telephone manner Excellent typing/IT skills (email, word processing & data inputting) Good communication skills – written & verbal Excellent telephony skills Flexibility to cope with changing needs of the job Eager to learn new skills Desirable General Office duties experience Previous experience of working with the general public Car Driver or ability to travel between clinic sites NVQ Customer Care or equivalent Disclosure and Barring Service Check This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and requires a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
