An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, highly motivated, and hard‑working individual to undertake the role of Clerical Officer within Health Record Services, dealing with Anaesthetics and Theatres. The post requires a range of administrative and organisational skills, and offers the chance to learn new procedures in a high‑pressure environment. Responsibilities Work as part of a large team while exercising initiative on daily tasks. Communicate effectively with patients, staff and external stakeholders. Manage workload efficiently, working under pressure to meet high standards. Maintain accurate filing systems, update rotas and manage databases, spreadsheets, and IT applications. Photocopy, handle emails, telephone calls from patients and perform miscellaneous administrative duties. Adhere to strict timescales and maintain confidentiality when dealing with patient/staff information. Qualifications Previous clerical experience and knowledge of office procedures. Working knowledge of IT applications, databases and spreadsheets. Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently. Must complete a Level 2 Disclosure Scotland check.
