This is a meaningful opportunity to guide young people through key transitional years while helping them build confidence, social understanding, and academic progress. As a KS4 / KS5 Autism Teaching Assistant, you will play an essential role in delivering structured, tailored support to learners who thrive with consistency, clear routines, and patient guidance. What You Will Be Doing as a KS4 / KS5 Autism Teaching Assistant Providing specialist 1:1 and small-group support for students with Autism in KS4 and KS5 Assisting teachers in adapting coursework, assignments, and classroom materials Supporting pupils with communication, social interaction, and self-regulation Helping prepare students for exams, transitions, and post-16 pathways Encouraging independence, resilience, and confidence in daily routines Creating a calm and structured atmosphere where Autism-friendly strategies can be implemented Your work as a KS4 / KS5 Autism Teaching Assistant will directly contribute to academic progress and personal development.
