About us

CMA Connect Fareham helps anyone worried about money or debt to access free, confidential debt advice. Our befrienders are ready to help and support anyone whatever their circumstances, background, or faith. After talking with a client to gain all the necessary information, advice will then be obtained from qualified debt advisers working for a well-known national charitable agency called Community Money Advice.

The Role

This is a great opportunity to learn about the debt advice space and to make a real difference in people's lives Here at CMA Connect Fareham, we help people in debt to manage their finances.

Here's how we operate:

  • We take the time to talk to them and understand their whole story.
  • We contact their creditors.
  • We offer access to free debt advice and budgeting advice.

As Centre Manager you will:

  • Manage demand and allocate clients to our volunteers.
  • Make sure our processes and policies are compliant and effective.
  • Ensure our volunteers are trained and supported through the cases they work on.
  • Help the trustees steer the centre to success.
Skills

You are:

  • Highly organised.
  • Personable, an effective communicator, and a great team player.
  • Respectful of the Christian ethos of the charity.
  • Able to spend the equivalent of a day or two a week in the role.
