Overview Lexica is a leading specialist consultancy, transforming environments for clients in health and life sciences. From June 2025 Lexica is a member of WSP (UK) Ltd and will be fully integrated into the organisation by Jan 2026. Role: Consultant, Healthcare Strategy and Planning (HS+P) As Consultant, you will join the established Lexica Healthcare Strategy & Planning team. In partnership with the HS+P team you will help to grow and develop strategic healthcare planning as a leading‑edge offering to external clients, including NHS organisations and private sector clients in the UK and overseas. Responsibilities Deliver healthcare strategy and planning advisory services of varying breadth and scope, working as part of a team. Contribute to and support preparation of tender responses and delivery of presentations for new business opportunities. Assist in developing healthcare strategy and planning expertise, processes and procedures to ensure a quality‑assured service delivery. Develop and maintain clinical and operational strategy development, clinical and operational health services and facilities planning solutions. Participate in client workshops, stakeholder engagement sessions and support bid and tender preparation. Contribute to new business development and bid preparation. Support the Health and Life Sciences Advisory business target as part of the HS+P team. Qualifications and Skills Expertise: working knowledge of health services and/or health facilities with technical input for individual projects. Agility: support delivery of wide range of projects related to clinical and operational strategy development, clinical and operational health services and facilities planning. Interpersonal skills: interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels within client organisations. Writing skills: responsible for writing reports, briefs and contributions to business cases. Data analytics skills: employ models to assess health service needs and demands at various levels and scales. Creativity and solutions focus: help clients investigate needs, develop solutions, review and assess options. Natural curiosity and evidence rigor: keep abreast of trends, research healthcare planning topics and investigate key lines of enquiry. Openness and curiosity: contribute to projects globally, developing understanding of local cultures and practices, sharing best practice observations. Spirit of collaboration: part of a multi‑disciplinary team, help colleagues manage workload and develop processes and procedures. Organisational skills: manage workload and inputs into projects, monitor personal inputs to high quality deliverables. New business development: contribute to bid and tender preparation. Contribution to Health and Life Sciences Advisory business target: part of the HS+P team.
