Principal Clinical Psychologist – Isle of Man Public Service We are looking for three warm, enthusiastic, and professional Clinical or Counselling Psychologists to join our team and help support the psychological care provided by our Community Mental Health Service for Adults and Integrated Mental Health Services. Vacancies Principal Clinical Psychologist – Older Persons Mental Health Services and Manannan Court Inpatient Services – Band 8b – Salary: £71,400 – £87,747 per annum Principal Clinical Psychologist – Community Mental Health Service for Adults – Band 8b – Salary: £71,400 – £87,747 per annum Principal Clinical Psychologist – Community Mental Health Service for Adults – Band 8a – Salary: £61,611 – £73,492 per annum Responsibilities As part of a multidisciplinary team you will: Carry out complex psychological assessments in partnership with service users, selecting and administering specialist psychometric assessments, self‑report measures, structured observations and clinical interviews as appropriate and integrating this data into intervention/care plans. Formulate evidence‑based psychological treatment plans tailored to each client, drawing on appropriate conceptual and theoretical models, monitoring outcomes and modifying interventions as required. Collaborate with psychiatrists, mental health nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, CBT, DBT, EMDR therapists and support workers in a welcoming team environment. Qualifications & Requirements Qualified Clinical or Counselling Psychologist with relevant clinical experience. Strong assessment, treatment planning and outcome monitoring skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams. Enhanced with barring police check (covered by the Isle of Man Government).
