Water Treatment Engineer/Plumber – South East London

Due to present state of the business, this highly successful company with a good presence and turnover is actively seeking to employ a competent, self-motivated and multi skilled Water Treatment Engineer/Plumber to join their busy team in the South East London area and will include applications from Epsom, Mitcham, Croydon, Sutton and the surrounding areas.The applicant must come from a good educational and chemical and technical and plumbing background and must be fully conversant with the current guidelines – ACOP.Must have good communication, client-facing, IT and organizational skills.Must have extensive and varied experience working within this role and within the water treatment field.Key Responsibilities Will Include:Disinfection of mains water systems, tank cleans and descales, changing and replacing tanks, remedial work, flushing systems, water softeners, etc.Monitoring client’s air and water systems and ensuring that they comply with the current Health and Safety legislation.Carrying out cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems and cooling towers.Carrying out temperature monitoring, conducting routine sampling and analyzing water systems.Interpreting the results and maintaining and installing dosing systems, etc.Providing accurate reports and maintaining paper work.Building and maintaining a good rapport with the clients.Carrying out plumbing work – Servicing and maintaining – TMVs.Pipe fittings and repairs, drainage, etc.Attributes:Overall the successful candidate will be versatile, flexible, and reliable and have the ability to work independently and under pressure and must be prepared to travel to sites designated by the client.This is a good opportunity to join a highly successful company that offers an attractive salary, depending on expertise, company vehicle and along with many other benefits.Future Select are recruiting in the Water Treatment/Hygiene industry, we work with the best clients & candidates and supply the majority of permanent jobs in the market.We would be interested in speaking to candidates with experience in any disciplines from Risk Assessors, Service Engineers, Account Managers and Business Development/Operational Managers through to Director level.We are inundated with applications, we will endeavour to get back in touch, however if you have applied to Future Select and you have not heard from us after a week, on this occasion, you will not have been successful.
