With a competitive salary and a Monday – Friday shift pattern, this role should turn a few headsReporting to the Operations Director and working collaboratively with production your focus will be on the implementation of advanced jig and fixture development for the department. This is a major focus alongside the revamp of the factory layout using auto CAD in line with proposed changes to reduce factory footprint.Key Responsibilities:Assess, develop and optimise production processes in order to improve efficiency, reduce cost, improve sustainability and maximise profitability.Conduct time and motion studies to establish non-value added waste in the production processes and deliver waste reduction projects to improve deliverable productivity gains.Design, test and run new and revised systems of work.Research new equipment and make enhancements to machinery, infrastructure and tooling.Liaise with design and engineering to aid the introduction of products designed for manufacture.Conduct product studies to improve production efficiency, enhance quality and recommend future strategy.Your engineering contribution will play a significant part in achieving our clients ambitious growth strategy.Apply today and send your CV to mark@olivercarol.com #J-18808-Ljbffr
