Trafford Leisure have an exciting opportunity for a Lifeguard Team Leader to join the team. Location: move Urmston, Bowfell Road, M41 5RR Salary: £13.50 per hour Hours: 36.25 per week, with a varied shift pattern over 3 weeks of earlies, lates and 1 in 3 weekends Job Type:Permanent Why Join Us? The Role As a key member of our team, you’ll play a vital role in delivering outstanding customer experiences and ensuring our facilities run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include: Creating a welcoming environmentfor all visitors, ensuring they feel valued and supported. Supporting the Duty Manager with daily operations, including opening and closing procedures and maintaining smooth facility management. Handling challenging situations with professionalism, guiding the team to resolve customer concerns effectively. Collaborating across departments to deliver consistent, high-quality service. Identifying opportunities for improvement, working with your Manager to enhance customer satisfaction. Engaging with visitors, answering queries, and ensuring a positive experience from start to finish. Driving sales and retention, building relationships, generating leads, and promoting our services. Maintaining equipment and activity areas, ensuring everything is clean, safe, and ready for use. Setting up for scheduled programmes, preparing spaces and equipment as needed. Providing lifeguard support, ensuring a safe and enjoyable swimming environment for all. To be successful in the role of Lifeguard Team Leader You will have: Avalid Royal Life Saving Society National Pool Lifeguard Qualification. Experience in a supervisory or team leader role, or the potential to step into one confidently.
