Nursery Deputy Manager

OverviewWe are seeking a Nursery Deputy Manager. Please only apply if you have a minimum level 3 childcare qualification alongside experience as a room leader or deputy. The role involves a mix of office and room-based work, requiring flexibility throughout the day. The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.Main DutiesEnsure a high standard of care, education, and EYFS delivery within the settingAssist in managing and supporting nursery staff, promoting a nurturing environment while ensuring compliance with childcare regulations and quality standardsMaintain safeguarding, health & safety, and hygiene standards, including daily checks and accurate record-keepingLiaise professionally with parents/carers, promoting strong partnershipsPlan and deliver stimulating activities that support children’s developmentMonitor individual child progress and ensure inclusive, tailored planningSupport children’s welfare, including personal care and nutritionOrganise safe, well-managed outings and external activitiesEnsure confidentiality and uphold all nursery policies and proceduresBe a key holder and respond to emergencies as requiredCollaborate with external professionals and participate in ongoing staff trainingWork in the rooms as and when requiredRequirementsA minimum of level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalentExperience of working in a childcare settingExperience in being a Room Leader or Deputy in a nursery settingExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of childrenSalary: £30,000-£33,000 per annumJob Type: Full-time, PermanentBenefitsCompany pensionOn-site parkingReferral programmeFlexible language requirement: English not requiredEducation and Experience (preferred)GCSE or equivalent (preferred)Nursery: 1 year (preferred)Childcare: 1 year (preferred)Management: 1 year (preferred)Driving Licence (preferred)Please apply with your CV and we will return to you within 3 working days. #J-18808-Ljbffr
