About the role:
As a Production Operative, you will join a friendly and experienced manufacturing team supporting the safe and efficient production of ink products. This is a practical, hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment with strong safety standards and excellent training opportunities.
Key responsibilities:
* Operating filling equipment for ink production
* Cleaning and maintaining machinery
* Using production equipment and instruments safely in line with procedures
* Operating batch processing machinery
* Maintaining a high level of housekeeping in the work area
* Supporting goods inwards processes
* Picking goods for production use
* Operating a forklift truck (FLT)
* Demonstrating commitment to safety at all times
The ideal candidate:
You’ll be a reliable, proactive team player with a keen eye for detail and the ability to follow production processes accurately. Previous manufacturing experience is beneficial, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.
You will have:
* Basic secondary education
* Good computer and data-inputting skills
* Experience in a production environment (preferred)
* A strong focus on safety, accuracy, and teamwork
* Willingness to take part in improvement activities
* FLT experience (beneficial)
