Junior Designers are passionate brand advocates with an aptitude for creating beautiful ranges, designing aspirational and captivating pieces and collections for AllSaints, alongside other duties. You share our passion for fashion We look for individuals who can act as a brand ambassador and who are believers in the power of an amazing outfit. You'll have experience at an assistant designer or senior assistant designer level. You'll have the ability to work cross functionally with other teams and have great passion for our products. Day to day you will play a pivotal role in designing aspirational and captivating pieces and collections for AllSaints, alongside other duties. About the team: The Design department is the epicentre of our DNA and influences every part of our brand. We play a key role in setting the tone and direction of the brand visually, commercially and ensure that our customers receive the product they desire. Responsibilities Collaborating with Designers to support the design and conception to production from our denim category Create mood boards, draft sketches, using trend research, competitive shops and catwalk inspiration Confidently produce style boards, taking ideas from concept through to tech and sourcing packs Source and place sample orders of raw materials Issuing of all styles with specs, swatches, layouts etc. Research, develop and design, including identifying key shapes for the season, colour, fabric and building a range to suit our customer base Build relationships with suppliers and mills, attending regular meetings with them Anticipate the needs of our customer using sales data, customer profile analytics and trend research to deliver commercial product ranges Work alongside the buying teams to react to sales information and present design ideas and develop products to drive the range Review the collections with the Directors and the Buying team Qualifications A strong commercial background working from conception through to production at an Assistant Designer or Senior Assistant Designer level on denim A degree in Fashion Design with a specialist focus on denim is preferable Ability to work with Buying, Sales and Production A natural at building relationships internally and externally at all levels Collaborative in your approach when working in a team Proven experience of working with a technical team to fit all samples through to production Strong commercial awareness and ability to design to price point An entrepreneurial spirit always striving to do better Excellent verbal and written communication skills Confident drawing by hand, but also proficient with Illustrator At AllSaints we are in the business of feelings – making our customers feel cool and confident, and if you share that belief we’d love to talk to you Company Culture & Location We're a global brand made up of a very diverse mix of talented people in a huge variety of roles.
