**THE ROLE**
We are currently recruiting for a Junior Designer to join our existing Digital and Direct Marketing Team within their in-house studio.
The primary purpose of this role is to support British Business Bank design and creative outputs. As the Junior designer, you will report into our Creative and Design Manager within the Digital and Direct Marketing (DDM) team.
You will support the Creative & Design Manager in the delivery of creative and conceptual design work
across each area including but not limited to: British Business Bank, Finance Hub, Start Up Loans, British Business Investments and British Patient Capital, as well as our regional funds.
Your professional design skills and eagerness to learn as part of a personal development plan will enable you to work from a concept through to delivery. This is a hands on role, working on design for our online and offline marketing activity within ourin-house studio model Your will work in collaboration with your colleagues / internal customers and also external agencies (including web development agencies) You will help to provide support in creative discussions and ideation for a wide variety of designoutputs including providing artwork and imagery for customer facing content, collateral, and campaigns, as well as photography and support on video production, video editing and subtitles.
To be considered for this role you must have experience and be able to demonstrate a portfolio showing a range of design work (flyers, brochures, infographics, display ads, banners, web)
Along with having design experience in a similar company or marketing team and experience of working with agencies.
You will be adept at using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, Premiere Pro, Google web designer) and have experience with both Mac and Windows PC platforms.
Experience with brand management and guardianship also with experience handling external printers, with knowledge of print processes and creating print-ready artwork would also be a distinct advantage.
Industry or design agency experience designing for both digital and print and After Effects would also be desirable.
