Responsibilities Develop and standardize the project control team and support processes. Provide effective planning, estimating, and cost control services to Senior Managers and Project Managers. Implement and maintain the project controls process, continuously improving as required. Ensure Project Managers receive performance management information and reports for internal and external stakeholders. Provide an efficient document controls service to the project managers. Support Senior Managers/Project Managers in the development and implementation of the Project Controls team for the EAST. Support staff within the project controls team in career development within the wider organization. Develop a detailed understanding of project control requirements in each contract and provide guidance and support to ensure these are achieved. Manage project controls resources to support project teams in accomplishing agreed business objectives, including planning, cost control, contract support, procurement, and document control. Implement an effective cost control system across all projects, addressing cost estimating, benchmarking, reporting, variance identification, and change control. Maintain an effective project reporting and governance calendar, collate and present consolidated performance reports and KPIs across projects. Support the bid process. Ensure all internal financial reporting is undertaken in accordance with agreed timelines and processes. Ensure that Safety policies and procedures are understood and adhered to in order to provide a safe working environment. Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems. Perform assigned tasks with due diligence regarding the Integrated Management Systems. Eliminate waste and suggest the use of environmentally friendly substances and practices, contributing to continuous environment improvement. Exercise supervisory responsibilities in projects. Qualifications Required Working knowledge of project planning principles and software. Working knowledge of budget control systems, cost estimating, benchmarking and forecasting. Understanding of commercial contracts and sub-contracts. Desired Degree qualification. Understanding of risk and MoC processes and their application, awareness of cost and schedule risk analysis. Minimum of 10 years’ industry experience, with 3 in a supervisory position. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, And Other Characteristics Proven capability of providing clear and concise information to assist decision making. Strong written and interpersonal communication skills and ability to influence others in a collaborative manner. Proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
