You’ll lead challenging projects, mentor junior team members and deliver creative, high-quality structural solutions. Expect a varied workload, client‑facing responsibilities and the chance to shape the future of the built environment.What You’ll Be DoingTake ownership of technical delivery for structural engineering projects, including financial and project management aspects.Collaborate closely with your team and report to the Project Director.Represent the business professionally in meetings with architects, clients, contractors and other stakeholders.Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including health and safety.Assess sustainability and environmental impact throughout project stages.What They’re Looking ForDegree in Structural or Civil Engineering (or equivalent).Proven post‑qualification experience in structural design.Ability to design in all conventional materials and experience with refurbishment projects.Knowledge of soil mechanics and foundation design.Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to provide strategic design advice.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Collaborative team player with commercial awareness.Benefits includeCompetitive salaryContribution towards a personal pension scheme (up to 5% of salary)Salary Exchange SchemeDeath in Service benefitPrivate Health InsuranceInitial 25 days holiday (3 held for the Christmas period)Additional holiday accrued in accordance with the number of years’ services, up to a total of 28 daysThis role offers the chance to work on diverse, high‑profile projects while developing your leadership skills in a supportive, forward‑thinking consultancy.Interested?
