Maintenance Engineer Join the team at TipTopJob as a Maintenance Engineer, located in Thirsk, North Yorkshire (YO7). This is a permanent full‑time role with 48‑hour weeks, working 4 days (Thursday‑Sunday or Friday‑Monday) from 6am to 6pm. Salary: £33,000‑£35,000 per annum plus Company Car/Van. Job Details Seniority level: Entry level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Management and Manufacturing Industry: Manufacturing Responsibilities Provide engineering support to the production team on day shift. Carry out all planned, preventive and corrective maintenance tasks in accordance with maintenance systems. Investigate, perform root cause analysis and resolve problems relating to machines and support process and quality issues. Keep shift documentation and records up to date. Provide comprehensive breakdown information and actions taken to support the planned maintenance system. Adhere to all Health and Safety guidelines and requirements. Required Experience Minimum 2 years experience in a maintenance engineering role. Good working knowledge of pneumatic and electrical control systems. Experience in troubleshooting and fault finding. Good organisational and time‑management skills. Ability to work on own initiative and collaboratively. Ability to work in a fast‑paced production and engineering environment. Flexible, adaptable, proactive and motivated with the ability to resolve intricate situations. Desirable Criteria Experience within a production/manufacturing environment. Mechanically biased.
