BPS qualified to facilitate a range… About Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this day-shift position plays a key role in providing engineering support to our production team, ensuring our manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently and the repair of all plant equipment. The Details Salary - £40,000 Company Vehicle 4 on, 3 off (Thursday-Sunday or Friday-Monday, 4 x 10-hour shifts) Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Maintenance Engineer – Requirements A recognised qualification or apprenticeship in mechanical and electrical engineering. Time-served qualification and minimum 2 years' experience in a maintenance engineering role. Strong working knowledge of pneumatic and electrical control systems. Experience with product transfer systems (elevators, drag-chain, auger feed systems). Skilled in troubleshooting and fault-finding. Experience in a production or manufacturing environment. Mechanically biased background preferred. Maintenance Engineer – Responsibilities Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across mechanical and electrical systems. Perform planned, preventative, and corrective maintenance tasks in line with maintenance systems. Investigate and resolve mechanical and electrical issues, conducting root cause analyses. Provide technical support for production and quality processes. Maintain accurate shift records and documentation. Deliver detailed breakdown reports and recommend corrective actions.
