Higher Level Teaching Assistant and Family Support Worker Location: St George's Church of England Primary Academy, Admiralty Street, Stonehouse, Plymouth, PL1 3RX Contract Term: Permanent Salary: Grade SC Level 5 – SCP 14-17 Starting salary £20,693 per hour (FTE £29,540) Hours: 30 hours per week Term Time only: 39 weeks per year Closing Date: Monday 12th January 2026 Interview Date: Friday 16th January 2026 Start Date: As soon as possible About the Role This is an exciting dual role where no two days are the same. You will: Provide high-quality support to pupils across the school, acting as an HLTA and taking on some class teaching commitments as needed. Build positive, constructive relationships with children and families, offering guidance and support to help every child thrive. Work closely with staff and external agencies to ensure early help, wellbeing support, and safeguarding processes are effective.
