The RoleWe’re looking for an experienced Safety & Quality Coordinator to lead our multidisciplinary support team, including Quality Assurance Officers, an Early Childhood Teacher (ECT), Aboriginal Engagement & Employment Officer, and Child Safety Officer. You’ll guide compliance, child safety, cultural inclusion, and educational quality initiatives, while driving continuous improvement across our services. This role involves frequent regional travel, including short-notice trips and overnight stays—giving you a unique opportunity to make a real difference across our network. What You’ll DoLead and mentor a multidisciplinary team to meet regulatory and organisational standards.Oversee compliance audits, policies, and documentation, providing guidance for service improvement.Deliver training and support in compliance, child safety, cultural inclusion, and quality.Collaborate across teams to implement quality improvement initiatives.Monitor feedback from children and families to ensure excellent service.Uphold REED’s values and Child Safe Organisation standards. What We’re Looking ForDiploma in Children’s Services (or equivalent).Experience managing early childhood education and care services advantageous.Strong mentoring and leadership skills.Knowledge of OHS in ECEC settings.Strong knowledge of the EYLF v2.0, NQF, National ECEC Regulations and law, and regional multi-site ECEC contexts.Commitment to child safety principles.Excellent communication skills, including reporting to senior management.Current WA WWCC and national police clearance.Current WA Driver’s Licence and First Aid (HLTAID012).Knowledge of the ECA Code of Ethics.
