Working as part of a wider team and reporting to the HR Manager, the successful candidate will coordinate processes and guidelines to help align the workforce. Duties of the HR Advisor Advise, guide and support managers with all matters relating to employee relations Effective case management of people related issues such as disciplinaries, performance management, redundancies and absence management, raising complex cases to the HR Manager for support Develop effective relationships with the business to promote good employee relations across the organisation Monitor trends in employment practices and advise on appropriate proactive action Provide advice and guidance on disciplinary and welfare cases, capability, grievance, and coach managers where appropriate Keep abreast of changes in relevant employment law legislation and ensure that the Company complies Undertake and support relevant projects in line with the HR strategy Qualifications 3–5 years experience working within an HR environment (Essential) CIPD/Degree equivalent in relevant subject (Desirable) Experience working within a manufacturing environment (Essential) Good knowledge of Employment Law (Essential) Experience providing guidance on ER topics such as disciplinary, capability and grievances (Essential) Due to the high number of applications we receive, we may not be able to respond directly to each candidate.
