HR Operations Assistant

Responsibilities Ownership and coordination of the onboarding process, including working closely with the Resourcing Team. Ensure new starters complete and return all relevant documentation. Manage Dogs Trust HRIS, My DT and employee records. Uphold GDPR practices to ensure compliance with legal requirements. Serve as the first point of contact for general queries such as parental leave, sick leave, etc. Qualifications Are you an aspiring HR professional looking for a role where you can deliver excellent service in an organisation that truly makes a difference? To succeed in this role, you'll have previous experience in an administrative position within HR, along with strong attention to detail, a high level of confidentiality, and excellent organisational skills. You'll be comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment, managing multiple tasks efficiently. Strong communication skills are essential, as is the ability to meet deadlines and collaborate effectively as part of a team. About Dogs Trust HR is a growing team of over 30 friendly, hardworking colleagues delivering a first‑class service to the organisation and its c. 1,700 employees across all HR activities, including recruitment, payroll, learning and development and employee engagement. The postholder will be self‑motivated, working collaboratively with the Business Partner team and other teams in HR, actively managing their workload. Dogs Trust—we love dogs.
