We are a truly global organisation with sites in London (UK) San Francisco (CA), Princeton (NJ) & Calgary (Canada) building teams in ML Research and Product Development to Mechanical and Chemical Engineering, offering opportunities for talented individuals who want to shape the future of materials and their applications in high-impact industries.Role OverviewWe're looking for an experienced Multimedia Designer who will be the creative engine for Orbital, working across the business to help us visually communicate our groundbreaking technology.The ideal candidate is a true design expert, a master of graphic design, video editing, layout design with a strong knack for creative direction and ideation. You’ll be someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and is ready to build the visual identity of a generation-defining company.Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Marketing CollateralOwn the design and production of all GTM assets. This includes designing professional data sheets, case studies, whitepapers, eBooks, and brochures that make our sales team proud and our prospects confident.Design high-impact, visually compelling presentations for sales pitches, investor updates, partner webinars, and internal keynotes. You will be responsible for translating complex ideas into clear, authoritative slides (primarily using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop).Digital & Demand GenerationCreate a high-volume pipeline of static and motion-based assets for our organic and paid digital channels (primarily LinkedIn, X/Twitter, and targeted ad networks). This includes ad creative, infographics, diagrams, and campaign visuals.Video Production & EditingBe our in-house video expert. You will edit product explainers, customer testimonials, executive interviews, and create short-form social videos. This includes motion graphics (titles, callouts) and audio sweetening to ensure a professional final product.Web & Brand StewardshipAct as a guardian of our visual brand identity. You will design compelling web banners, icons, and other assets for our website, ensuring consistency, quality, and creativity across all digital touchpoints.Product Marketing CollaborationLiaise with relevant team members to create assets that support product launches, such as simplified UI mockups for marketing materials or feature graphics for our website.What We’re Looking For5+ years of professional multimedia or visual design experience.Expert-level proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro and After Effects)A strong portfolio is required. Your portfolio must demonstrate experience in B2B, technology, or SaaS sectors. We will be looking for a strong variety of projects, such as sales collateral, presentation design, video/motion work, and digital campaign assets.Proven ability to take complex, technical, or abstract concepts and make them accessible and engaging through visual design.Excellent project management skills.
