Mixologist - Liverpool, Merseyside Role Purpose / Overview : Are you passionate about crafting high-quality, innovative beverages and creating memorable guest experiences? Join our team as a Mixologist at Hill Dickinson Stadium, where you'll ensure the smooth operation of our premium bars. Bring your passion for cocktails, bartending techniques, and customer service to a fast-paced environment, maintaining cleanliness and organization with considerable attention to detail. We seek an inspirational mixologist experienced in delivering the highest standards every matchday. You'll focus on consistency, quality, and innovation, maximizing sales and revenue through strong relationships with each guest. Adapt to new technologies, keep up with trends, and work closely with the bar manager to enhance our cocktail offerings and sustainability. Your creativity and expertise will be key in developing and perfecting signature cocktails, promoting the bar’s offerings, and providing expert recommendations to enhance the guest dining experience. A deep knowledge of preparing a variety of cocktails is essential. Key Responsibilities Health & Safety : Lead a health & safety culture, taking responsibility for your own and others' safety. Allergen Awareness : Be fully aware of allergen information passed on from supervisors / managers on matchdays. Alcohol Laws & Regulations : Maintain strong attention to detail and organization. Guest Assistance : Act with urgency to assist guests and team members. Cocktail Preparation : Prepare, mix, garnish, and serve a wide range of cocktails based on recipes or customized requests, ensuring the highest quality and consistency. Innovation : Work closely with the bar manager to experiment with new ingredients and create innovative drinks. Ingredient Knowledge : Have a deep understanding of spirits, liqueurs, and other cocktail ingredients, including their flavors, origins, and best uses. Tastings : Support the bar manager with tastings and assist as necessary. Customer Engagement : Engage with customers, recommend drinks based on preferences, and provide an exceptional bar experience with friendly and efficient service. Stock Management : Monitor bar stock levels, support with ordering supplies, and ensure ingredients are fresh and properly stored. Cleanliness & Organization : Keep the bar area clean, organized, and stocked, ensuring all tools, glassware, and equipment are in good working condition. Sales & Recommendations : Suggest premium drinks, cocktails, or add-ons to customers to increase sales and provide a memorable experience. Attention to Detail : Ensure every drink is made to perfection with precise measurement and presentation. Station Setup : Have knowledge of setting up stations and breakdown responsibilities, delivering premium service. Guest Experience : Create outstanding guest experiences in all premium outlets in the stadium. Interpersonal Skills : Be approachable with good interpersonal skills, extensive cocktail knowledge, and an understanding of allergens. Training : Provide cocktail tastings or educational sessions for staff. Guest Engagement : Proactively engage with guests and clients on matchdays to ensure a first-class premium experience, driving cocktail / beverage sales by promoting features and upselling premium options. Feedback Management : Address guest or client feedback promptly on matchdays, passing on feedback to supervisors / managers to implement improvements. Matchday Procedures : Maintain and monitor matchday procedures, ensuring all stock sheets are assessed throughout the day, and stock transfers and wastage are checked and signed off.
