About the RoleFM Conway is currently seeking a Site Agent to join our successful Structures division. You will be working on an exciting project expanding our Aggregate and Asphalt division's portfolio and building our eighth Asphalt Plant in Wellingborough. As a Site Agent you will plan, execute and supervise the safe delivery of project works and maintain all site activities in accordance with the Structures work package plan. This is a 12‑18 month fixed‑term contract role, based full‑time at our Wellingborough site.ResponsibilitiesWorking in conjunction with the Project Manager to maintain and update the contract programmePlanning, coordinating and implementing work activities in accordance with the project timelinesEnsuring that all works are delivered in full compliance with all FMC Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality policiesImplementing and controlling all planned works including distribution of safe systems of work which includes site inductions, daily briefings, task assignment, risk reviews and toolbox talksCoordinating all plant, equipment, materials and consumables needed for the delivery of worksRecording changes in project scope and assisting with project stakeholdersQualificationsWe are looking for an experienced Site Agent with a proven track record of successfully delivering large‑scale projects. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of civil engineering, mechanical, and industrial/plant or rail environments. Previous experience within the aggregates industry or a similar sector would be highly advantageous. You will have demonstrable site management experience, with the ability to oversee projects from inception through to completion, and an excellent understanding of resource and supplier management. The successful candidate must hold a valid CSCS card and SMSTS certification.
