Do you want to make a direct difference to the lives of children and young people with complex lives and multiple needs living within a residential care setting?Do you enjoy working in partnership, across agencies to achieve the best outcomes for young people and their families?We are recruiting a Lead Therapeutic Practitioner for our Blaenau Gwent MyST community team to support our work alongside the Blaenau Gwent Residential Team.About MySTMyST is a therapeutic service for looked‑after children who are at risk of being placed in out‑of‑area residential or institutional care due to their complex emotional and mental health needs. It is a well‑established, experienced and high‑performing multi‑disciplinary team, providing excellent mental health and therapeutic care to some of Blaenau Gwent’s most vulnerable looked‑after children. You will also be a part of our Regional, Gwent‑wide MyST Programme.What We OfferMyST can provide you with:Opportunities to practice creativelyHigh‑quality support and management/clinical supervisionRegular therapeutic training and developmentThe chance to work as part of an exciting service and make a real difference to the lives of looked‑after children and their familiesThis post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
