What You’ll Be Doing Collaborate with therapists to assess and support patients with complex needs Independently conduct simple assessments and implement treatment plans within your scope of practice Make informed decisions on treatment options in line with agreed guidelines, protocols, and therapy plans Support and enhance therapy services to help patients regain their independence and quality of life Why Join Us? Person Specification Knowledge Up to date knowledge of relevant conditions and their therapeutic applications Ability to use own initiative Understanding the dynamics of a group Supervisory skills Qualifications NVQ Level III in Care "Diagnostic and Therapeutic Support" award (or equivalent qualification) and substantial experience as a therapy assistant Experience Substantial experience as a therapy assistant Evidence of CPD/IST Working unsupervised Ability to motivate others Contractual Able to work flexibly including weekends and until 7pm Ability to travel between hospital sites Disclosure and Barring Service Check This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
